War Machine uses patch points to open the classic game mechanic system where missiles rain from the sky while a crosshair launches explosions to defend. Additionally, a playful read of the relationship between rhizomatic motion and the state in Deleuze and Guattari’s A Thousand Plateaus inspired further-transformations to this system.
Example patches: Rhizomatic Music Box example patch for Mac. This is a tiny utility that demonstrates one of myriad ways to communicate with the War Machine game module.
Compatible with illuciaRouter (Mac, Windows) utility tool for testing connections between game modules (and demonstrating automagic import of inputs and outputs into your patching environments using the included .illuciamodule json files).
OSC patch point addresses are listed in the included documentation. For further support, read and post in the software forum.
